Flint Hills Scenic Byway
Kansas
Welcome to the Kansas Flint Hills Scenic Byway
The Flint Hills Scenic Byway is Kansas’ official route for the Harley-Davidson 50 Rides Challenge. Traveling through the heart of the Flint Hills, this scenic ride features rolling tallgrass prairie, limestone bluffs, winding roads, and wide-open views across one of the last remaining tallgrass prairie ecosystems in North America.
The official Harley-Davidson checkpoint is the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Visitor Center at 2480 KS-177, Strong City, Kansas. Stop for your checkpoint photo before exploring the preserve and experiencing one of America’s most unique natural landscapes.
